Pikku! basics

Create a list, add tasks, and collect picks to see the basic flow.

Create a list

Create one from the list switcher in the top bar. You can rename it later.

Enter tasks

Press Enter to add before or after. Add dates or details as needed.

Pick what you will do today

Picked tasks gather in the Pick list so you can focus.

Organize and finish

Reorder with shortcuts or drag, and bulk complete or delete.

Check tasks with upcoming dates and your history to decide next steps.

Core concepts

List

A container to group tasks by project or purpose.

Item

A task. It can have a done checkbox, due date, links, and details.

Section

A heading inside a list to group tasks.

Pick

A short list for what you will do today. Keep focus tasks here.

Due date / Details / Links

Dates appear as chips. Details are rich text, and you can save multiple links.

Multi-select

Select multiple tasks to use bulk actions.

List management

You can create, edit, and reorder lists.

Create and edit

  • Create from the list switcher
  • Click the title to edit (Enter to confirm)
  • Press Esc to cancel title editing

Organize

  • Drag in reorder mode
  • Add sections from the list menu
  • Convert a section into a list

Copy to clipboard / delete

  • Copy a list to the clipboard from the list menu
  • Clear completed with one action
  • Delete a list from the menu

Task actions

Add, organize, and move quickly.

Add and edit

  • Press Enter to add a new item before or after
  • Backspace on an empty item to delete
  • Shift + click to select a range

Done / Pick

  • Mark done with the checkbox or Ctrl/Cmd + .
  • Pick with Ctrl/Cmd + ,
  • Use the selection bar for bulk actions

Reorder and move

  • Move with drag or Ctrl/Cmd + Up / Down
  • Move to another list (you can create one)
  • Undo a move if needed

Section handling

  • Tab / Shift + Tab convert between tasks and sections
  • Sections work as headings
  • Choose section only or section with items when deleting

Multi-select

  • Drag to select a range
  • Use the selection bar to copy to the clipboard, delete, or move
  • Esc to clear selection

Input help (dates and links)

Suggestions appear while editing items. Click to apply.

Date suggestions

Enter a date expression to show suggestion chips. Click to apply as a due date.

  • Numeric: 1/31 2025-01-31 2025.1.31
  • Words: today tomorrow this weekend next Tuesday
  • Time: 1/31 15:00 3pm
  • Range: 1/31-2/2 1/31 10:00-12:00

Time zone suffixes (e.g., UTC+9) are recognized but not used for calculations. English and Japanese keywords are supported.

Link suggestions

Detect URLs in text and show an "Add as link" suggestion.

  • Supported: http:// / https:// only
  • Cleanup: Trailing URLs are removed from the text
  • Duplicates: Already added URLs are not suggested
  • Display: GitHub/Slack/Backlog show compact labels

Not shown for sections. Suggestions appear only while editing.

Label suggestions

Type a label starting with # to see label suggestions.

  • Input: #internal #client
  • Suggestions: Labels used in the same list
  • Create: If no match, you can create a new label
  • Cleanup: Already assigned labels are hidden
  • Use: Enter/Tab to apply, Esc to close

Not shown for sections. Suggestions appear only while editing.

Panels and dialogs

Edit details, dates, and links in dedicated panels.

Date panel

  • Set date, time, and range
  • Toggle all-day or time
  • Clear to remove the due date

Details panel

  • Supports bold, italic, code, quotes, and lists
  • Insert links
  • Ctrl/Cmd + Enter to close

Links panel

  • Add or remove multiple links
  • URLs are normalized automatically
  • Links appear as chips

Labels panel

  • Tap labels to assign or remove
  • Edit names/colors or delete in edit mode
  • Drag to reorder (disabled while editing or filtering)
  • Ctrl/Cmd + L opens the panel

Clipboard panel

  • Preview Markdown and HTML
  • Choose whether to include dates, details, and links
  • Customize done/undone labels

Move / create dialog

  • Move to another list
  • Search and select a list
  • Create a new list and move

Shortcuts help

  • Open from the top-right "?"
  • Review the keyboard shortcuts
  • ? also toggles it

Use views to balance organization and focus.

List

The main list editing view. Add and organize tasks here.

Pick

Collect picked tasks. Review them by list.

  • Clear completed picks in one action
  • Copy the entire Pick list to the clipboard

Upcoming

View tasks with upcoming dates in time order. Overdue items are grouped separately.

So far

Review history of created, completed, and deleted tasks. Filter by type.

Trash

Restore deleted lists and items. You can also delete permanently.

Use the clipboard panel to configure output format and included details.

  • Entire list (from the list menu)
  • Single item or section
  • Selection range

Output options

  • Include due dates, details, and links

Formats

  • Preview Markdown and HTML
  • The clipboard includes both Markdown and HTML, and the paste destination chooses which format to use

List sharing

Invite members with a share link so you can update the same list together.

Issue an invite link

  • Open "Invite to list" from the list menu
  • Use "Issue link" to create an invite URL
  • Share it with "Copy"

Manage the link

  • Use "Regenerate link" to invalidate the previous link
  • Use "Delete link" to stop new joins
  • Share the invite URL only with required members

Manage members

  • View the current member list
  • Owners can remove other members
  • Members can leave by themselves (owners cannot leave)
  • Each list supports up to 50 members

Integrations

Bring assigned tasks from GitHub, Notion, and Backlog into Pick, and view your schedule from Google Calendar.

Common flow

  • Connect from Settings > Integrations
  • Open the integrations panel in Pick
  • Add to a list (also appears in Pick)
  • Hide / show to organize (external services are not updated)
  • Reload to fetch the latest

Google Calendar

  • Shows events from selected calendars inside Pick
  • Connect multiple Google accounts
  • Add up to 3 calendars
  • Add events as tasks (due time and event link are included)
  • Hide / show events to keep the schedule clean (Google Calendar is not updated)

GitHub

  • Shows review requests (PRs) and mentions (issues/PRs)
  • Only items updated in the last 30 days are included
  • Choose a target list and section
  • Toggle hidden items
  • One GitHub account per connection

Notion

  • Pulls assigned tasks from shared databases
  • People (assignee) property is required (only tasks that include you)
  • If no Status property, completed tasks may appear
  • Updates older than 30 days are hidden (toggle Show older tasks)
  • Choose list/section, hide/show, reload

Backlog

  • Enter the space domain, then select a workspace and project
  • Only assigned issues are fetched
  • Completed statuses are excluded
  • Updates older than 30 days are hidden (toggle Show older issues)
  • Choose list/section, hide/show, reload
  • Workspace limit depends on environment settings

Sync / offline / updates

Data syncs automatically. Knowing offline behavior helps.

Sync

  • Auto sync while signed in
  • Sync indicator is shown during updates
  • Prompt to reload when changes are detected on another device

Offline

  • Offline banner appears when disconnected
  • Cached content is shown if available
  • Sync resumes after reconnecting

App updates

  • Auto update when a new version is detected
  • Local save runs before updating

FAQ

Answers to common questions.

Date suggestions do not appear

Suggestions appear only while editing items. They do not appear for sections or multi-select. Try formats like 1/31 or today.

Link suggestions do not appear

Only URLs that include https:// or http:// are supported. URLs already added are not suggested.

I deleted something by mistake

You can undo right away from the Undo banner. Later, restore it from Trash.

I went offline

Use the banner at the top to reconnect. Sync resumes after reconnecting.

I want to change the copy format

Use the clipboard panel that opens when copying to switch Markdown/HTML and included elements.
